Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Lumiqo platform, website, APIs, SDKs, or any related services (collectively, the “Services”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity (“Customer”), you represent that you have the legal authority to bind that entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the Services.
Description of Services
Lumiqo provides a cloud-based, AI-powered analytics and observability platform designed for engineering and data teams. The Services include:
- API Ingestion Engine: Ingest and normalise data from any REST, GraphQL, or gRPC API endpoint using API Key or OAuth authentication
- Webhook Processing: Receive, validate, parse, and route webhook payloads from any third-party service
- Event Stream Analytics: Real-time ingestion and analysis of event streams via our proprietary streaming pipeline
- Conversational AI Insights: Natural language querying of your ingested data powered by large language models
- Real-Time Dashboards: Customisable monitoring dashboards with live data visualisations and alerting
- Developer Tooling: SDKs, CLI tools, API references, and webhook simulation utilities
- SaaS Integrations: Native connectors to popular developer and data tools
Lumiqo reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Services with reasonable advance notice where technically feasible.
Accounts & Authentication
Account Registration
To access the Services, you must create an account at console.lumiqo.app. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep it updated throughout your use of the Services.
Account Security
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, including API keys and webhook secrets
- You must immediately notify Lumiqo of any unauthorised use of your account at security@lumiqo.app
- You are liable for all activity occurring under your account, including actions by team members you have authorised
- Lumiqo strongly recommends enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all accounts
API Keys
API keys are credentials that authenticate your applications' access to Lumiqo's ingestion and management APIs. You must not hardcode API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or any publicly accessible location. Lumiqo provides API key rotation and scoping features to reduce exposure risk.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Services to transmit, store, or process unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or privacy-violating content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Lumiqo platform
- Circumvent or disable any security, rate limiting, or authentication mechanism
- Use the Services to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam), phishing payloads, or malware
- Engage in any activity that disproportionately loads or disrupts Lumiqo infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Services except via our documented APIs
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Services to third parties without a written reseller agreement
- Use the Services in a manner that violates the privacy rights of individuals under applicable law
- Ingest data that contains payment card data (PCI DSS scope) unless you have agreed to our PCI addendum
Subscriptions & Billing
Plans
Lumiqo offers a Starter (free tier), Growth, Business, and Enterprise plan. Plan details, included event volumes, and pricing are described at lumiqo.app/#pricing. Lumiqo may adjust pricing with 30 days advance notice for existing subscribers.
Payment
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via our payment processor, Stripe
- All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law
- Overage charges (excess event volume) are billed at the end of each billing cycle
- Failed payments may result in service degradation; accounts with outstanding balances beyond 14 days may be suspended
Free Tier
The Starter plan is provided without charge subject to usage limits. Lumiqo reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Starter plan with 60 days advance notice to registered free-tier users.
Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise customers may enter into a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA) that supersedes these Terms where there is a conflict. Contact sales@lumiqo.app to discuss enterprise licensing.
Data, Privacy & Security
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. With respect to Customer Data:
- You grant Lumiqo a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Customer Data solely to provide the Services
- You represent that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents, and authorisations to send Customer Data to Lumiqo
- Lumiqo will not access Customer Data except to provide and support the Services, investigate security incidents, or as required by law
- Upon termination, Lumiqo will make Customer Data available for export for 30 days, then delete it according to our data retention schedule
For customers requiring GDPR-compliant data processing terms, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available at lumiqo.app/data-processing.
Intellectual Property
Lumiqo IP
The Services, including all software, algorithms, AI models, dashboards, documentation, branding, and interface elements, are and remain the exclusive property of Lumiqo Inc. and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Services.
Customer IP
You retain all ownership rights in Customer Data you ingest into the Services. Lumiqo does not claim intellectual property rights over your data or the outputs generated from your data using the Services.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant Lumiqo a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use that feedback to improve the Services without restriction or obligation to you.
Service Availability & SLA
Lumiqo targets a monthly uptime of 99.9% for paid plans, measured excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Specific SLA commitments, uptime definitions, and credit procedures for Business and Enterprise plans are described in our Service Level Agreement (SLA) addendum.
- Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance via status.lumiqo.app and email notification
- The Starter (free) plan is provided on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees
- Lumiqo may perform emergency maintenance at any time to address critical security vulnerabilities

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUMIQO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMIQO'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY LUMIQO'S NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
IN NO EVENT WILL LUMIQO BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by visiting console.lumiqo.app/settings/account or by contacting support@lumiqo.app. Termination is effective at the end of the current billing cycle for paid subscriptions.
Termination by Lumiqo
Lumiqo may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, including engaging in prohibited conduct under the Acceptable Use Policy. For non-material breaches, Lumiqo will provide 14 days written notice and an opportunity to cure.
Effect of Termination
- Your right to access the Services ceases immediately upon termination
- Customer Data will be available for export for 30 days post-termination, then permanently deleted
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) will survive
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent imminent harm. Class action waivers apply — you may not bring or participate in class action claims against Lumiqo.
For customers in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, those laws may provide additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.
General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable addenda, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumiqo
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without Lumiqo's written consent; Lumiqo may assign in connection with a merger or acquisition
- Notices: Legal notices to Lumiqo should be sent to legal@lumiqo.app or our registered agent
- Changes: We may update these Terms with 30 days advance notice; continued use constitutes acceptance
